How can I find a MPEG-7 player? I found some projects for building MPEG-7 players like here http://www.merl.com/projects/MusicFinder/, but I did not find any ready MPEG-7 player that I can download.
regards
Within MPEG, there's an activity called Multimedia Application Format (MAF) which produced a series of standards aiming at the combination of various MPEG technologies (audio, video, systems, and mds) and some of them use MPEG-7 for describing their metadata.
An overview of the available MAFs you can find here [1][2][3]. Based on the standard's number, i.e., the ISO/IEC 23000-x, you may find reference software for each player under [4] (unfortunately there's no software available at the moment; i just checked). However, you may find some information/hints in the other documents on where to get reference software.
Hope this information was helpful!
