Query regarding Semi global edge histogram

Hello All, Please find the image as a attachment. For edge histogram,image is divided in 16 subimage. 1)what does 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,& 8 cluster represent? Are these subimages? 2) what does 9,10,11,12,13 cluster represent? Are these subimages or subset of subimages? Thanks & Regards, MSA
