The 2nd International Conference on Multimedia and Ubiquitous Engineering (MUE 2008)
Multimedia and Ubiquitous Engineering is emerging rapidly as an exciting new paradigm to provide computing life services any time, anywhere. MUE 2008 conference will provide a good chance for academic and industry professionals to discuss recent progress in the area of multimedia and ubiquitous environment including models and systems, new directions, novel applications associated with the utilization, and acceptance of ubiquitous computing devices and systems.

== Paper Submission and Publication == Every submitted paper will be carefully reviewed by at least two members of the International Program Committee. The problematic (borderline) papers will be additionally evaluated by the members of the International Advisory Board and the Chairs of the conference. All accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings with IEEE CS (indexed by EI). Authors should submit paper with about 6 pages (regular paper submission) or 8 pages (full paper submission with 2 pages extra chage) by using online systems for review.
Distinguished papers accepted and presented in MUE 2008, after further revisions, will be published in special issues on prestigious international journals (Pending). - Special Issue on "Emerging Multimedia Applications", Multimedia Tools and Applications (indexed by SCI-E), Springer. - Special Issue on "Multimedia Services and Applications", Journal of Universal Computer Science (indexed by SCI-E). - Special Issue on "Security for Multimedia and Ubiquitous Applications", Telecommunication Systems (indexed by SCI-E), Springer.
