MULTIMEDIA ANNOTATION & RETRIEVAL

The researcher will be responsible for thedevelopment of multimedia annotation and retrieval techniques. You will work inthe general area of multimedia information retrieval. Specifically, you will be required to develop techniques and models of multimedia annotation (under the direction of the investigators), implement a number of demonstrator systems and conductevaluations of the system. This will be done within the context of collaborative European projects (SALERO,SEMEDIA and K-Space). This post is available for twenty four months in the first instance
